Abstract Submission

Authors need to be registered to Microsoft CMT system to submit their abstracts of no more than 300 words, with 3-5 keywords and 3 main references before 29 November 2021 10 January 2022.

Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper, as well as the related conference session and sub-topic.

Each author can submit only one abstract individually and one in a group of authors.

Once your abstract has been blind peer-reviewed, you will be notified of the acceptance on 16 December 2021 24 January 2022. Authors will be requested to submit a full-lenght paper, and will be provided of instructions on how to prepare the paper.

Final acceptance will be based on the full-length paper, which if accepted for publication, must be presented at the conference.


The language of the conference will be English.

Please note that the instructions are intended to give consistency of style and format. Failure to comply with these instructions may result in your paper being returned and cause a delay in publication.

Please note that papers for conference proceedings should not exceed 18.000 - 20.000 characters in length (included notes and references).

The submitted paper must highlight:

- approach and/or methodology

- results: analytical, propositional, and debate aspects

- originality: explaining what is expressed again and for whom

- limits of research and significant developments

- cultural, practical and/or socio-economic implications (when present)

- reference research, the relevance of the topic, subjects involved.


The papers are evaluated according to the following scale: Accepted – Accepted with minor modifications – Accepted with major modifications – Not accepted.

Authors will integrate the comments and observations of the reviewers and the final paper must be delivered before 23 May 2022.

The texts, bibliographical references, images, and notes must comply with the Author Instructions.

Paper presentation

The selected authors will present their paper in a 15 minutes presentation during the Conference.
The Conference will be held in Rome,
Faculty of Architecture on 30 June, 1-2 July 2022. For any necessity, authors will be offered the possibility to attend the Conference and present papers through online sessions.
